Class Description

Names of Allah is a journey through the divine names of Allah ﷻ. We will explore the names that Allah ﷻ uses to describe Himself, deepening our understanding of our Creator. We will learn the meanings and attributes of Allah ﷻ and how they can guide us on our spiritual journey.

Through discussions and reflective exercises on His names ﷻ, we will learn how to connect with these divine qualities and incorporate them into our daily lives, strengthening our relationship with Allah ﷻ. By contemplating these attributes, we will gain insights into the essence of Allah’s ﷻ mercy, love, majesty, and forgiveness, and foster a deeper understanding of our faith.

*This class is part of a special series exploring the beautiful Names of Allah. Each term, we’ll study different names, learning their meanings and how they can inspire our daily lives.

  • I liked how Anse is able to connect the names of Allah to personal life and experiences

  • The teacher was very informative and she taught in a way that made it interesting. It felt more conversational than just like a lecture.

  • I loved how Anse Sarah went in depth into the meanings of each Name and suggested ways that we could use it in our Dua.

  • I liked learning about the attributes of Allah through the Anse's life stories.

  • I liked how there were a lot of examples of how to apply the names of Allah in our lives to be more mindful and remembering of Allah

  • I really liked Anse Sarah's way of teaching, and my favourite part of the last class was when we drew our dream Jannah

  • I liked how the teacher referred to different problems in life and how the names of Allah can comfort you. It helps you put things into perspective.
