Class Description

Unlock the secrets to making the most of Ramadan!
This is a class designed to help teen girls recognize time as a trust (amanah) from Allah ﷻ  and learn how to manage their 168 weekly hours with purpose. Through engaging discussions, goal-setting exercises, and practical scheduling tools, students will discover how to balance worship, academics, and personal growth in a way that enhances both their faith and daily life. By anchoring their routines around the five daily prayers (salah) and setting intentional goals, they will learn how to maximize the blessings (barakah) of Ramadan and beyond.

This class will focus on cultivating habits that bring productivity and spiritual fulfillment. Students will explore daily practices such as Quran recitation, dhikr (remembrance of Allah), sleeping and waking up early, completing schoolwork on time, and helping their families—all with the intention of pleasing Allah ﷻ.  By understanding the connection between mindful time management and increased barakah, they will develop routines that reduce stress, boost academic performance, and strengthen their relationship with Allah.

This class is not just about managing time during Ramadan—it’s about developing a lifelong skill that will empower students to approach every aspect of their lives with clarity, purpose, and devotion to Allah.

Class Outline

Week 1: The Value of Time in Ramadan

In this first week, students will discover the significance of time as a trust (amanah) from Allah ﷻ  and reflect together on how to use it wisely during Ramadan. They will learn how to do a time audit to track their time, and identify common distractions—setting the stage for building meaningful habits.

Week 2: Goal Setting with Intention

This week focuses on how to set S.M.A.R.T. goals that align with extra worship in Ramadan and turn everyday actions into acts of worship. Students will create actionable goals for Ramadan focused on spiritual, academic, and personal growth.

Week 3: Scheduling for Success

In this session, students will be taught on how to master practical time management techniques like time-blocking and Eisenhower Matrix, to structure a productive day anchored around salah. Students will design a personalized Ramadan schedule that balances worship, studies, and self-care for the last ten days of Ramadan.

Week 4: Ramadan and Beyond

In this final week, students will reflect on lessons they have learned and evaluate the progress they have made during Ramadan. To conclude, students will also create a schedule that aims to carry their productive habits and spiritual growth beyond the holy month of Ramadan.
